Sky Muster™ Plus – More Data for Rural Australians is Coming!

If you’re a Sky Muster™ satellite broadband customer wanting more Peak Data, Activ8me is excited to announce we’re currently trialling a new Sky Muster™ product – Sky Muster™ Plus.

This product will add value to the Sky Muster™ satellite broadband service in three ways, the most exciting of which is Unmetered Data.

  1. Unmetered Data
    Using your email, browsing the web (excluding video and other multimedia content) and updating operating systems for select products (IOS, OSX, Windows, Android) won’t count towards your monthly data allowance.
  2. Speed Bursts
    The speed of the Sky Muster™ Plus product will be able to burst above the current maximum speed of 25Mbps.
  3. Unshaped Usage
    Once you reach your monthly data allowance and your speed is shaped, using your email, browsing the web (excluding video and other multimedia content) and updating operating systems for select products (IOS, OSX, Windows, Android) will remain unshaped.

(Important: Activities outside of those detailed above, such as streaming Netflix and online gaming will still count towards your monthly data allowance, and will still experience shaped speeds once you reach your monthly data allowance.)

Will I be able to stay on my current Activ8me Sky Muster™ plan?

Once Sky Muster™ Plus becomes available, existing Sky Muster customers will be able to choose whether they stay on their current Sky Muster™ plan, or switch to one of our new Sky Muster™ Plus plans.

New Activ8me Sky Muster customers will be able to choose from our existing Sky Muster™ plans, or a new Sky Muster™ Plus plan when they join.

How much will Sky Muster Plus cost?
