Australia has long been known for its many innovations and technological contributions to the world.
With the dawn of the Internet age, many seemed to outpace the country down under, and Internet Australia wants to see the country retake its former glory and become a leading country when it comes to technology, IT Wire reported.

“Australia created the heart pacemaker, the bionic ear, black box flight recorder and many more extraordinary inventions; so there is no reason why we cannot be a world leader in the next, Internet-driven, industrial era.”

-IA Chief Laurie Patton

He added that attendees of the Digital Strategy Innovation Summit in Sydney have expressed the same sentiment and agreed  it’s what the country needs for “future economic prosperity.”
Patton lamented that if Australia wants to reposition itself as a global technological leader, it has to be done by a 21st century National Broadband Network.
The IA Chief said when talks about providing Australians with roads, water, rail system and electricity, no one argued, but “why are we doing it over this piece of critical 21st century infrastructure?”
Internet Australia said the copper-based tech that the NBN is using must be replaced in 10 to 20 years.
He said it’s important  Australia strives to provide its people with a fast and stable Internet connection, because not only will it be good for the government, it will also benefit different business industries.
In promoting a culture of innovation, tech innovations and respective initiatives must not be exclusive to major Australian cities. Part of this innovation call is the realisation of better Internet Telecommunications (ICT) technology for regional and rural Australia. One such innovation is the two nbn satellite aka  Sky Muster® that brings better internet across the bush.
The Sky Muster® II intends and will provide regional and rural Australians the broadband connection they deserve and with the nbn®  rollout in full swing, it won’t be long until the nbn® completes is blueprint and  have access to an Internet connection deserving of the country’s reputation as a technological leader.
The nbn®  Sky Muster satellite brings better satellite internet connectivity to regional Australia. To get onboard Sky Muster, call Activ8me today 13 22 88 or visit: https://activ8me.net.au/internet/skymuster
