Great news for Maitland NSW as high speed nbn^® broadband arrives

Maitland NSW – As the nbn^® rollout gathers pace in New South Wales, the wait is over for around 2,400 residents in Ashtonfield and parts of East Maitland who will be able to connect to nbn^®Fibre. direct to the premise by end of January 2016. Fibre To The Premise (FTTP) connections are the fastest service available on the nbn^® network.
Another set of 2500 premises in Metford and other parts of East Maitland will be connected to nbn^® Fibre by March 2016.
To access nbn^® Fibre To The Premise (FTTP), an external utility box is installed on the exterior of the premise as well as internal installation of a nbn^®modem offering speeds up to 100/40 megabits per second. Standard installation of equipment is at no cost to the resident.

Residents need to contact their preferred nbn Retail Service Provider in order to connect to the nbn^®. Through Activ8me residents can connect for as little as $39.95 per month and they have recently launched an unlimited data plan from $59.95.
